minecraft break from WoW^^ what I am doing while playing minecraft? leveling my 54 enchanter as high as he can go and still working on my black smithing for ze DK that's all folks!

Farming Frostweave in 4.2

What will you need?
 -You will need a toon with some good AOE abilities.
 -Self heals (would be a very good idea bring pots)?
 - A tailor for better drop chances on the cloth.
Ok lets get started!
 The first place we will look at is in Storm peaks and are the Sons of Hodir elites they aren't any stronger than a normal cataclysm mob and should drop in between 1-7 Frostweave cloth now I cant test this theory since I am exalted with them but in Theory it should work as long as you aren't friendly with them and are level 85.

 

The second place is in Icecrown You will be looking for Scourge Banner Bearer and Converted hero I farmed them for thirty minutes and got a Guide to Northrend Cloth Scavenging along with 139 Frostweave cloth and a green piece so I think we can safely assume its around 300 Frostweave per hour. You will want to go for the  Converted hero's  that are in lines or groups taking them one at a time will drastically lower your farming efficiency thus giving you less cloth (obviously;P) If you want you can also pull the Scourge Banner Bearer that like to stand by them but it will slow you down by a few seconds so only do this if they are close or you can charge them somehow.

Plans for the blog and such

Semi non related to gold post today I am going to share my plans for the blog and all my other online enterprises instead. For the blog I will be buying myself a domain so stabbyfaisebanking.com will be the new URL! I also will be picking up some recording equipment for better voice quality when I start to do my you tube videos.  My you tube videos will consist of gold tips (possibly because I don't see many people doing gold making videos just blogs maybe I am crazy?) along with the usual gaming commentaries maybe a few unboxings once I get a better camera, I may even do some vlogs. The gaming commentaries will most likely start as soon as I get a new tv and will come more often once I get my hands on an HD recorder instead of the analog one I have now. That is all friends! adios

spent 1100 on ore knew I shouldn't have but it was a gamble and as with most times you gamble I lost about 200 gold and that's what brings me to my point. MY SERVER HAS NO FARMERS or prices are around 70 gold per stack for both Obsidium and Elementium now I don't know if that's normal but from what I have seen on twitter and read on other gold blogs it isn't. i only got 3 inferno rubys and 8 carnelians out of around 17 stacks I has 1 carnelian on my druid so with transmutation that brought me to 6 inferno rubys and 960 gold from that I haven't done anything with the other gems yet so once I cut and sell the uncommons I will most likely break even but even so that's maybe a 20 gold profit then so in short! If you farm a lot and you need somebody to buy up your ore transfer to Drenden!

OMG SPARKLYS

    Alright! Today I unlock my First gem cut off of the vendor in Orgrimmar so that means (as long as I can get some cheap ore prices have been horrible lately) I can start making some serious cash. I had 16 Inferno ruby's laying around and I made 8 bolds in case I want to save the rest for some reason I can always make more later If I sell out. I also picked some stacks of herbs at under 20g each so I will start moving into the glyph markets today as well I have over 100 blackfallow so I think I will trade some of those in to get me started and fill out any inks I couldnt find cheap enough herbs to make them with. Plan on using Noxxic.com to get the most in demand glyphs for all different class specs and make 5 of each. My goal for the day is 1000 gold I haven't made that much in a day since I took my break to level my hunter to 75 so I actually could make the gems and new pvp rings.... time to get started.

whatsup this week!

   Well my hunter hit 75! So that means that I can get 525 jewel crafting and inscription I have over 500 with both now and tomorrow I will unlock my first Inferno Ruby cut I am thinking ill go for the bold cut and I have around 15 Inferno ruby's at the moment so I will make 3k gold at least tomorrow and that is good! Because last week I hit the 75k mark and now I am back at 64k. I might have gone on a gear spending binge for my dk... but I don't think it will take me to long to recoup my losses. this morning I cleaned all of my crafting toons bags so they only have items needed for crafting in them that makes me one step closer to my gold making machine being at full power!
            I need to look at finding a good farmer or two who can supply me with cheap herbs and ore because I do not want to be up at 2am every night to catch the guy who throws up 200 stacks of Obsidian at 30 gold each. Anyways once I get my farmers in place I will start moving into the glyph market posting up as many glyphs as I can I want to go for all of them but I think that will be a large undertaking so I will start small and see how it goes. Oh! I also hit 525 on my tailoring so I cant start to make the pvp blues to sell.. lets see what else I have been doing started making mysterious fortune cards again I don't think I will keep up with it though for three reasons 1.To much work 2.To much competition 3. Not enough profit to make it worth it. If I forgot anything Ill tweet about it! I am always tweeting so follow me!

The importance of a notebook in gold making

      I have a notebook that is always on my desk while I play World of Warcraft it serves as a reminder for things and a place to write down my ideas before I forget them;). You can use the notebook as a place to write down ingredients needed from wowhead save the names of other characters if you need them for another toon of yours if you cant remember them while logging out of one and into another. The thing that made me get the idea of writing a post on this is something I realized around two days ago after realizing I was making less gold than usual... my notebook was missing! I rely on it so much for making gold that my profits fall when I don't have it. that's all I forgot the rest short post thanks bai.

Gold farming while grinding levels?

     Well it is for me at least!^ I have every class at or above level 20 so that has given me an interesting opportunity. Have you ever heard of an Alchemy army? If you haven't its where you have multiple toons with maxed alchemy that you use for the daily transmutes I am taking that idea in a different direction. My idea is the Farming Army every toon is placed by a group of mobs that drop a rare item you then kill that type of mob until you have killed every single one of them log out and do the same in another location with another toon. Once they have leveled out of that area you simply move them to another one with another type of drop.
     
      It isn't the most efficient way to farm an item but the main point of it is to gain gold or an item one of your crafters may need while gaining xp think about it at level 34 you can begin farming noxious whelplings in Feralas they drop Tiny emerald whelplings and give X amount of xp the whelplings can take over 3000 killed to drop so X*NK=xp gained (NK=number killed) while farming, you also have gold making side of it on my server the whelps go for 20k+ on the Auction house so as long as you don't spend over twenty hours farming (you wont you will level out before that) you will still be bringing in 1k per hour sounds good huh?

Vanilla WoW Gold making tip Essence of air

On my server Essence of Air can go anywhere in between 200-500G this is because they are used to make the best agility enchants for twinks. To get Essence of Air you must go farm Dust Stormers from the areas around the crystal vale in Silithus. They have around a 5% drop rate but quite a few are around and with a level 85 DK I had no trouble at all continuously farming them.

What will I be doing over the next month?

Over the next month of making gold I will be focusing primarily on getting my "factory" and professions set up. I already have mining and herbalism covered along with alchemy at max level. I have both Jewel Crafting and tailoring at around 300 just waiting on my hunter to hit 75 she is currently two bars away from 70 so that piece of the gold making puzzle is coming along nicely. I will be leveling my Mage to 65 and focusing on engineering pets and BoE enchants with him, Currently I am creating an army of lvl20 alts, the warrior I will use for skinning and leather working, another for low level black smithing I am trying to get as many pieces covered as possible oh! And one posted at a neutral AH. In another post I will talk about the markets I plan on taking over and any other gold making schemes I come up with and remember fellow bankers Everything is permitted.

Whats in my bags:o

So my first post and maybe my last;) but hey lets give this a whirl i have around 70k gold in World of Warcraft I am training jewel training as I type this and here is whats going on today... I decided to try cleaning out every single toon that I have and see what cool and or valuable items I have lost over my three years in WoW.

The hunter:
First thing I see? four Brewfest hats in my hunters bank...why.... and a ton of level one twink gear I do love those little wankers hehe not bad oh and one steam tonk controller.

The mage:
Tons of enchanting mats eh not that exiting o.o

The Death Knight:
My bloodsail admiral stuff! that's where it went haha tiny stockpile of eggs for some reason, quel'delar, iron boot flask an alchemy transmutation recipe and that's it:/ bout 50 gold in items to be resold though.

The Druid:(and oldest toon)
Stuff from every single in game holiday a large stockpile off alliance pets I didn't know about:o noggenfogger elixirs and an ornate spyglass from my first month ever playing that I have always kept^^ among a bunch of junk I really need to do a deep clean!

Thought I might have a bit more stuff I suppose my head for gold doesn't let me keep much valuable stuff around anyways maybe ill catch ya later.
